Question [FAQ] Help! My registration name or password isn't working?

Q: Help! My registration name or password isn't working! How do I fix this?

A: If you are unable to get the password to work, it could be one of the following issues:

1. You are perhaps not entering it correctly.
The Account Name will be the name given in the email you were sent. This is NOT your personal name.

2. You are not downloading a "clean" version.
Your download may have been corrupted during the transfer. Please re-download from:

http://www.inakasoftware.com/

3. You are trying to use an invalid password for an older version.

4. You are trying to use the password for the Windows version for the Mac
version, or vice versa.


5. You are not copying the Computer Cuisine Deluxe folder into your
Applications folder (Mac).


6. You are not properly launching the correct version of Computer Cuisine Deluxe version from your Applications folder.
You can ensure this by going into your Mac’s Applications folder and dragging
the data file onto the Computer Cuisine Deluxe application, instead of double-clicking. (This ensures you are launching the right version.)

7. You are trying to access a previously registered version of Computer Cuisine Deluxe which you customized the password.

If this is the case, only you know the password to unlock Computer Cuisine.
Please try again. If you are downloading a clean version, and unstuffing/unzipping it, make SURE you are attempting the password on this NEW version that has just been unstuffed. Also, make sure you are downloading it from our web site just to be safe.

8. [MAC VERSION ONLY] It could be that you accidently entered in the password incorrectly the first time and then pre-saved it so it's pre-entered (incorrectly) each time.

If this is the case Mac OS X users will want to try the following:

A. Please go into the following:

Applications > Utilities

Then find the application called Keychain Access.app

Launch Keychain Access.app, and see if Computer Cuisine is listed anywhere here in the password area. HIGHLIGHT ONLY COMPUTER CUISINE and delete it from the list.

2. Make sure you are launching a fresh version you just downloaded from our site and open that folder to launch Computer Cuisine Deluxe.

Launch it by opening that new/fresh folder and drag the data icon onto the icon for the Computer Cuisine app. This way I know you're launching the newly download fresh version.

3. Then re-enter the account name and password at startup because you will now see the login box:

Please copy/paste your original account name and password to unlock Computer Cuisine Deluxe.

NOTE: DO NOT ENTER YOUR PERSONAL NAME. THIS IS THE ACCOUNT ACCESS NAME. Please enter the account name exactly from your registration email.

4. This name/password can be saved by clicking "Remember this password in my keychain".

Also, please do NOT save the password until you know you have entered it in correctly and you see the splash screen that shows it is registered.
