[FAQ] Spell Check button isn't working, why?

Q: I’m clicking on the Spell Check button, but nothing is happening, why?

A: Make sure you have linked Computer Cuisine Deluxe to the included spelling dictionary files.

This can be found by going to the following menu:

Edit > Spelling > Select Dictionaries...

The main dictionary is named USENGLSH.MPR. (You can always do a search on your computer for this file.) The other is your user dictionary file named USER.UPR.

You can add terms to your user dictionary file by going to:

Edit > Spelling > Edit User Dictionary

Here you can add terms individually, or import a large number of terms from a text file. This allows you to fully customize your dictionary file.
