Question [FAQ] Can I scan my recipes into Computer Cuisine Deluxe?

Q: Can I scan my recipes into Computer Cuisine Deluxe?

A. There really isn't a way for any recipe program to properly scan recipes into your collection. This includes Computer Cuisine Deluxe.

Your best in these cases is to use specialized software for this task. This is called OCR software. OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition. This converts scanned hard copy text into an editable text file (like a Microsoft Word document.) You may even have this software and not even know it. Many scanners come bundled with free OCR software as part of the software package. Please check your scanner's software for more information.

Once your recipes are converted into text, you can easily copy/paste or drag & drop this text into Computer Cuisine Deluxe.
